Information only — not financial advice
These terms govern your use of FinancialInsight (the “Service”), operated by Financial Insight (“we”, “us”, “our”), available at financial-insight.uk.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FinancialInsight compiles information from official UK public sources — including Companies House, The Gazette, the OFSI sanctions list, HMRC, and the ONS — and uses automated analysis to produce a composite credit score, financial ratios, background checks, and a plain-English summary for UK companies.
FinancialInsight provides information compiled from official UK public records for general guidance only. It is not credit, financial, or legal advice and is not a regulated credit reference agency report. Always carry out your own due diligence before making a decision.
We are not a credit reference agency regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our scores and reports are decision-support tools, not recommendations. You remain solely responsible for any credit, lending, onboarding, or commercial decision you make.
You must provide an accurate email address and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes.
New accounts include 3 free credit checks. After that, you purchase credits — there is no subscription and credits never expire. Each credit covers one complete analysis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Because each check consumes official data and compute on demand, credits are generally non-refundable once a check has been run. If a check fails for a technical reason on our side, we will restore the credit.
You agree not to: resell or redistribute reports as a competing data product; scrape or bulk-extract the Service; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it; or use it for any unlawful purpose, including unlawful processing of personal data about directors or individuals.
Information is drawn from third-party official sources and may be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors outside our control. We do not warrant that any score, ratio, or report is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from a decision made in reliance on the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update the Service or these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
